Mary Kathryn Sanders (she/her) is a graphic designer, illustrator, and animator from Starkville, MS. Her creative journey began like many designers’—scribbling crayon masterpieces on spare printer paper. Over the years, she has honed her passion by exploring creative problem-solving across a variety of mediums, including sewing, printmaking, hand-drawn and After Effects animation,

and painting.

In her professional work, Mary draws inspiration from her frequent explorations of nature, balancing its organic tone with the complexity and energy of art-littered urban landscapes. Most days, you’ll find her wrapping up projects with an iced oat hazelnut latte, R&B tunes, and a freshly crossed-off to-do list—but she’s just as likely to be gaming or altering her latest thrift-store find.
